If RuneScape pures and range/mage tanks are still pretty decent from MMOruki's blog

Ok I just created a new account and RS gold im going to make rune pure or make it a primary. These r my objectives. I've always had pking account, my main dragonmyth is turning to some 70 defence pker and I have had mulitple 1-10 defence pures, and even a initate pure, I was wondering if Rune pures and range/mage tanks are still pretty decent, I would perfer it if it came out of somebody who has one im guessing I might get there stats into if I had. Then gradually get up prayer to 52 and max attack and strength, I do understand how to train and build accounts like this I was wondering if some of them are decent anymore and buy old school runescape gold which one is better.
